DirectTV Video Support request

I am using VLC to watch satellite based video. Currently, it works great with most satellite sources. But DirectTV uses a rather odd video stream which does not play well. If someone can tell me where to send a sample file, I will submit it so that perhaps support for this format can be added?

For reference, there is an exceptional program called TSReader which is a satellite video viewer for PCI based satellite cards, and uses VLC as the display software. FTA DirectTV support would be a cool added feature.
