Many different probs..

Hey!

I just got VLC, it was recomended to me to play Torrents. Now I have been able to work it out and play songs... but when it comes to videos and the torrents I can't! No screen comes up for videos. When I push play it seems to give me hope for a slpit second and then just doesn't do anything...

Help Please?

Ohh and a side note... I'm horrible with settings and preferences...I'm afraid i might screw up my comp!

1) Adjusting settings, whether in VLC or any desktop software is unlikely to 'screw up your computer'...

2) Fear to experiment is the single biggest obstacle that stops people from really learning how to use a computer and is sad.

3) But if settings aren't your cup of tea, then stay away from VLC
