Possible to use swscale filter for transcoding scaling?

Postby mykillk » 03 Jul 2013 05:25

I was wondering if it is possible to use the swscale filter when doing sout scaling?

I'd like to experiment with the different swscale algorithms to see if any produce better downscaling results when using sout scale=0.5

Yes, you should be able to. It should be the default, btw.
