norm and channel setting in GUI?

How do I do that? I have got no DVB card... just an old analog Hauppauge...

Then you probably need to use Video4Linux, not DVB.
Don't use PMs for support questions.

does the "old hauppage" have a name ?

I'm using v4l. But, when looking at the source code, I see that only the four gstreamer v4l options are supported. norm and channel do not seem to exist there.

Second, it is a bt848.
