Does VideoLAN have the capability of adding a playlist to "playing now" and then shuffle the result.
I'm currently running a dual boot with Windows XP SP3 and Linux Mint Debian Edition and switching over to LMDE. Since JRivers media players will not run on Linux distros (even using WINE or CrossoverLinux), One of the prime uses for my computer is to play music. I have some 10+k songs in my jukebox. I am searching for a good jukebox/media centre that will run on Linux (proprietary or non-proprietary). I really enjoy and utilize the JRivers Media player's ability to create smartlists and then to let me add a smartlist, artist, etc to "playing now" and then shuffle all the songs in "playing now." If VideoLan cannot do this, has anyone found a Linux jukebox/media centre which can??
Thanks,
