Video conversion to ogg cuts off video end

Postby LenoT » 10 Mar 2013 16:56

Hello all here!

When I recently converted videos to the ogg Theora format (*.ogg) (to make them ready for HTML5 in Mozilla Firefox), the VLC conversion engine cut off a short part at the video end (below 1 second). Other converters (for other formats) convert the full length.
As these are rather short (scientific) videos of a few seconds duration, I indeed do miss this cropped end.
Is there a possibility to prevent this?
If NOT: can somebody forward this problem to the developers?

Sincerely,
LenoT
