I have used Vlc for a long time without any problems till now. I have searched the Forum but i was unable to find an answer to help so here goes.
A number of films i have tried to watch when Vlc starts don't start as they nornally do. I have enclosed a screen shot of how the screen is when playing.
I have tried with a number of films/ TV programs and each is the same. Nothing in the menu's help's so can the Forum help? pressing the letter A only changes from Default or the various screen size types.
