Seek bar in widget

Is it possible to have the seek bar displayed in the widget that you can put on the homescreen? It just has to be a thin orange bar that corresponds to the playback. This is already implemented when you are playing music in the app and looking for another track to play. If this feature was in the widget, I would need to open the app in full much less.

Well, the widget is far too small for a seek bar, and if it is implemented it can only be read only.
