there seems to be some sort of audio problem with the movies that I download from Internet archive
take this one for example

I downloaded the 256Kb MPEG4 (203 MB) file
and the sound quality makes it unwatchable.
This seems to be a VLC problem as there is no problem with the audio if played in Quicktime.
