vlc version 2.0.4 resize every time video change

i use vlc from many time today i download the new version i have vlc 1.11 install on my pc it run super but i want try new one but there some issu

every time i load a new video it resize to video size in vlc v1.11 this kind of thing not happen

please fix it...................

USe the preference to set that.

I have the same problem. Setting a preference does not work. Full-screen playback is no problem, but when videos are played in a window, I want to view them at the resolution set when I most recently drag-sized the window. I could do that until I recently had a problem and had to do a System Restore just to get my preferences back. I usually play most videos (with embedded interface) at nearly the full height of my desktop, excluding the taskbar. Now, every time I click to the next video, the window resizes to the original size of the video.
