album art source + change

Postby peekaa » 27 Oct 2012 12:00

Where get vlc the album arts? I would like to change one cover at one song/album, and do not know where and how? I tried freedb with audiograbber, but it seems to that either audiograbber cant handle cover art or freedb doesnt have cover arts. Thanks for any help.

Usually from MusicBrainz.

VLC does not invent images. It has found it, either in your MP3, in your folder, or on the Internet.

well finally I managed to save proper image info musicbrainz. But now there is another issue: in vlc the image is really very small even if on musicbrainz there is 240x350. http://musicbrainz.org/release/439c8f93 ... /cover-art. Is that issue of vlc or musicbrainz? Thank you.

P.S. VLC could prefer images of musicbrainz -if the actual image is from google image and there is already anoter (new) one from musicbrainz, it should change it, so that user doesnt have to delete "%APPDATA%\vlc\art".
