Won't play more than one cda at a time

Postby eager » 21 Sep 2012 23:55

Hi,

I'm trying to figure out how to make VLC Media Player (on XP Pro) play more than one track off a commercial music cd at a time.

After I insert the CD and load VLC if I choose Open File I can see all the tracks but when I highlight all of them and hit play - nothing happens.

If I choose Open Folder, again I see all the tracks but when I highlight all of them and hit play - nothing happens.

The only way I can play any music CD is if I choose Open Disc, place a dot in the circle next to Audio CD and then go down to Track and click 1 enlist to that and then go back in and click Track 2 and listen to that, etc.

Isn't there a way to listen to music tracks on a CD without having to manually choose one track at a time?

If so, could you please share the steps involved to accomplish that?

Thank you!

Not that I know, the only way is to use Open Disc as you described before.
