Changing preferences/settings on ActiveX with VB6

Hi all,

I have downloaded VLC 1.0.5 to use the ActiveX with my VB6 project to stream live MP3 audio.

I was wondering if the changes made to the preferences/settings in VLC are copied over to the ActiveX component when it is used in the VB6 project?

Specifically, I am interested in the buffering settings for streaming audio.

Can anyone inform me if this is the case, if not, is it possible to set these from within VB6?
