Very poor video quality, sound is fine

Postby Locorameriz » 16 Aug 2012 09:21

Hi all, I am running Windows 7 and the video quality is extremely poor, have searched on the net for solutions but found nothing.
Any help would be much appreciated as I want to get rid of that realplayer in a hurry.

Try another video output module:
http://wiki.videolan.org/WindowsFAQ-2.0 ... _output.3F

And/or disable/enable GPU acceleration:
http://wiki.videolan.org/WindowsFAQ-2.0 ... age_errors

You can also try to enable or disable some video options such as Overlay and/or Hardware YUV -> RGB conversions.

Thanks very much, some very good information there, I changed my Nvidia setting and selected use video player settings.
The image is still a little ragged but there is a huge improvement, I have a lot to learn, thanks again.
