UPnP discovery timeout (and XBMC ?)

Hello,

Using VLC (2.0.1) I used to connect to two UPnP shares served by a linux machine on the local network.
It seems that since I installed XBMC, VLC fails to discover these shares, with:

upnp warning: search timeout

If I connect to these shares in XBMC first, then VLC picks them up after a while (and possibly a restart of VLC).

I use VLC 2.0.2 on Mac OS 10.6.8. I don't know if this problem is Mac specific.
I haven't tried to go back to VLC 2.0.1 yet.
