Hi,
I need a tiny customization of telnet lua interface for VLC (VLC 2.0 - on Ubuntu, but supposed to be independent).
1) customization
Copying telnet.lua as ctelnet.lua and starting vlc such way :
vlc -I lua --lua-intf ctelnet --lua-config "telnet={host='*console'}"
Adapt ctelnet.lua to provide a single additional command (support within telnet session) :
osd-print("my text\nmultiline as \nI can expect", "#00FF00", "Center")
Ideally, regarding positioning, I'm interested by all the osdmenu-position variables {0 (Center), 1 (Left), 2 (Right), 4 (Top), 8 (Bottom), 5 (Top-Left), 6 (Top-Right), 9 (Bottom-Left), 10 (Bottom-Right)},
anyway you could have difficulty to provide me so complex functionality.
Some syntax example here : viewtopic.php?f=29&t=97639&sid=b93ff164 ... eb#p331154
Delivery artifact is the ctelnet.lua source script.
2) tiny documentation
In addition, I also need clear and understanding/sampled syntax to :
a) on demand/immediately start to read file://xxxx to X11 output, though telnet commands.
b) command line argues to start vlc with default interface AND ctelnet AND http interfaces
Need the job delivered for the next 24 hours.
You can bid on odesk platform : https://www.odesk.com/jobs/VLC-LUA-inte ... eb197e1ae3
This announce is not a fake, I have a real need.
Thanks in advance to take it into account,
Best regards,
Francois
