use VLC streaming as a HTTP server

Discussion on the (deprecated) VideoLAN Server application as well as the miniSAPserver stream announcer. This is not about VLC!

use VLC streaming as a HTTP server

Postby StreamVOD » 10 May 2012 09:44

I have encounter a big problem about using VLC streaming.
Out client just use http to access the streaming server, so we have to use vlc to do this.
But I don't know if I use VLC http server, how many clients can concurrently access together?
Does there any test data to show the threshold about vlc http server?
Thanks for your help!
