Hello,
I finally upgraded to VLC 2, and now the playlist looks like this: http://i44.tinypic.com/xgftoi.png.
In 1.x it was just a list with columns showing track#, name, artist, length etc. How do i get that back in VLC 2?

Click the small button with lines at the upper right of the window.

Thank you very much, but i must say that that is rather hidden, especially considering the functionality isn't reachable in the view-menu.

That is a good point. It should be in the menu.
