VLC for iPad freezing.

Did 4.2 fix it as promised? I was able to downgrade to the older version and don't want to upgrade until I know it works.

Been checking this forum for the last couple of weeks trying to find a solution to this problem.

Can now confirm that the 4.2.1 upgrade has solved the problem of crashing video every 10-11 minutes.

Well that's not a fix - see me updating my iPad OS to run your iOS software is not a fix. I don't intend to "upgrade" my iPad until the "upgrade" doesn't de-activate my rotate-lock switch (5 gestures to replace a switch I use daily, and often isn't an upgrade - it's self-abuse). I don't see a link to be able to download the previous version of VLC - so I guess this software is pretty much off the table am I right?
