Also fixed now for ppl who have a default value selected in the preferences.
Don't use PMs for support questions.

The fix is 0.8.6 only for now, but will surely be forward-ported to 0.9.0 within the next couple of days. The DJ or myself will give a beep here then ;)

Yes it was backported.
Video still plays on my primary screen, not secondary (2), selected in the preferences.

This is with the newest nightly trunk (0.9.0) from November 16th.

Bummer, really thought it was fixed now... :(

I just tried the new VLC 0.8.6 and for the first time ever, VLC started in fullscreen on screen 2. Success!!

I really hope it keeps working now! :D
