Sorry, when you were describing play button it sounded like just the play button itself so I was like: "What is he saying? Does he actually mean that?"

One other thing I didn't see mentioned previously, but the player can be left paused and can be resumed if it is always kept in the foreground and active. But if the screen darkens after 5-10 minutes, power saving mode kicks in, it also loses it's place in the audio file.
