how to? overlay + software YV12->YUY2 conversion

Is it possible to make such a conversion in VLC with mpeg2/4 decoder but still use hardaware acceleration on win32 version?

@Sigmund

Unfortunately when "Overlay Video Output" is turned on VLC is using my GF2 grphics card buggy color conversion, and I can't change it. Without Overlay it's too slow for HDTV stream to be played at full speed. Any suggestions?

So no one will help me with that color conversion problem?
It can be set in xvid, ffdshow even divx. I just need to set output of mpeg2 decoder in VLC to YUY2 instead of YV12. Or maybe it's just impossible.

I don't think this is currently possible in VLC.

Fact remains, that it is a bug in your drivers... If it cannot handle the format, yet VLC directs this to the card, then your card is incorrectly reporting what it can handle.
Don't use PMs for support questions.

@The DJ
Thanks, now I know what to not expect from VLC. And the bug is not so big, most of the time is unnoticeable but in some scenes it's annoing. It's a small shift in chroma to luma planes.
