Can't use with WinTV USB

I'm trying to get my WinTV USB working in VLC so I can stream it around the house, however it doesn't seem to be working.

I select "Hauppauge WinTV USB Pro Capture" on the video drop down of Open Capture Device, and I check the WinTV settings which are all correct. I set the Audio Device to the soundcard which is connected directly to the Sky Digibox. On Advance Options I select for it to ask me which TV channel to use.

When it asks for the channel I select Antenna and enter channel 68 which is what my Sky Digibox is on, and it then says locked. However after clicking OK, all I get is the sound (which cuts out a lot) and a black picture the size of the TV picture. What am I doing wrong?
