I am wondering if there are any plans to have VLC ported to the Blackberry Playbook.
It does make an amazing Media Player, especially with HDMI out and VLC would had a huge dimension of media options if it were available.

Yes VLC on the blackberry playbook would be great, I have almost a 1000 videos in avi and mkv format but the blackberry playbook doesn't support neither format so I'm stuck with having to convert my files to mp4 which is a long process, having VLC would make things sooooooooo much easier. Please someone look into the development of this app on the playbook, It would be very appreciated by the growing playbook fans thank you

The Android VLC should run on it at some point, if promises made by RIM come true.
