DVD playback: random changes in audio and subtitles tracks

Postby gidra » 04 Apr 2011 13:52

I am using vlc on linux right now, so I decided to post this topic in the vlc for linux section, but I have seen my problem occur on windows as well. Whenever I'm playing a DVD from disk in VLC, at a certain point in time the audio track and subtitle track change automatically (so that I'm left with no audio and sub track). When I try to restore the audio track from the menu I notice there is an array of audio tracks which seem to crop out of nowhere.

If I exit vlc and restart DVD playback from the same disk, same problem occurs at the exact point in time. I have experienced this issue on various DVD disks. I would greatly appreciate if anyone can help me solve (or start solving) this problem. Thanks
