vlc for iPad, long backup times?

Has anyone else noticed ridiculously long backup times with vlc on their iPad. It appears that the problem comes when you add movies to the app. Because every time I delete the movies from vlc, backup is instant. Soon as I put movies back on, backup times go to 2+ hours.

Am I doing something wrong?

yes,i have noticed that too..but how do you delete the video files from the vlc app?

To delete videos that you have added to vlc. Open iTunes, connect your iPad, and navigate to where you added the videos on the apps page. Click on the video you want to remove and press the "delete" button on your keyboard. It will ask "are you sure?" Click delete and it will be removed.
