Video Annotation

Postby davidhoyt » 01 Jul 2008 22:39

Hello,

First off - thanks for any help that can be provided. :D

Is there a way to add text on top of a video I'm playing? What do I have to pass in to set the text and then to position it, say, in the upper-lefthand corner of the video?

Thanks!

For a permant overlay usng a logo (e.g. PNG with transparency if you only want the text to show) is probably easier.

Have a look at this wiki page and use the forum search etc.:

Thanks for the quick reply! I just need to display some text. I'm using JVLC, actually, and would prefer not to use the RC interface since the text may change at any time. Is there an API call I can do for this? What does RC call internally?
