where is Activex and firefox plugins

When cloning vlc from git repository before 1.1 version in dir projects exists dirs with activex and firefox plugins, after this version this folders and plugins has gone. Where is them? I need this plugins to compile my own versions of this plugins with another clsid (for activex) and embed type (for mozilla) to use on my web project.

Ice178 - Were you able to rebuild the ActiveX from the sources? If yes, could you make it available please?

Another question: I'd like to have the .cab hosted on my own server. That should be no problem I understand. But what about the Mozilla plug-in. If I wanted to offer that "myself", are there any instructions on how to do that?
