I've recently bought a new PC (Phenom II X6 1055T, Radeon HD 5870, Win 7 Home Premium x64.) and found that when attempting to switch to fullscreen in VLC there is a delay of anywhere between 5-10 seconds before the window actually goes fullsceen.
I've not seen any similar problems in other applications, and this is on a completely clean install of Windows.
Any idea what's causing it? GPU driver bug? VLC threading issue?
