No picture while playing ISO of Dual Layer DVD

Postby WILU » 25 Jul 2010 11:35

Hello!
I forund a problem with 1.1.1 and 1.2.0 (test version) versions of VLC Media Player. When I tray to play an ISO file from hard disk with DVD Dual Layer (file size over 4,7GB) there is no sound and picture, but progress bar is going as always. There is no problem with files with size below 4.7GB (only one layer). There is also no problem with version 1.1.0 - This version plays DVD single and dual layer ISO files with no problem.
System specs:
Windows XP SP3 PL (polish) + all patches, nvidia quadrio NVS140M graphic card (laptop - thinkpad R61) with newer drivers (Foreceware 258.96).

hmmmm sorry for another post, but i found what can be a problem. All my ISO files with size over 4.7GB have polish letters like ó, ę, ą in their names. When I change file name that it has not this letters in the name, everything works OK. Hmmm....
