Well, the bug's still there in 0.9.4 ...Will be partially fixed in 0.9.3
How about 0.9.6? Any progress in fixing this bug? Should I bother installing 0.9.6?Yes it is.
Yes, but then when you move VLC to another monitor the panel will still remember its previous position, hence will, again, show up where you don't want it. It looks to me that the panel window coordinates have been specified in absolute (that is, relative to the desktop), instead of being specified relative to the VLC window. That does not matter in single monitor scenarios, but it makes a hell of a difference in multiple monitor configurations. (See also this thread: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=52562.)You can move the panel and it will be saved.
Fixed in 0.9.9Fullscreen on a secondary monitor doesn't even work in 0.9.8a.
That should be fixed in 1.0.0 which should have vout recycle when released.it'd switch back to the primary monitor again when the first file ends and the second file on the playlist begins.
Bug in 0.9.8aWhat's going on?
Disable overlay video output or make you you don't have video mirroring (NVIDIA) or theater mode (ATI) in use.It seems like version 0.9.8a will open the opposite monitor in fullscreen automatically
