Is there a way to display album art that is embedded into the id3 tag of an mp3?
some other media player do this.
if VLC doesn't this would be a great feature to add.

VLC version 0.9.0 will have a completely different interface and look; it will also have the option to add album art. There's still a few problems with it at the moment though.
