Audio Crackle/Pop

Postby MrVLCMan » Sat Jan 06, 2007 7:03 pm

On .84 and updated .86 I've got popping and cracking of audio.
... Search here ...
Find comment that using waveout will fix this....try it ....
It works. I notice that Default seems to be DirectX. Can anyone tell me something about this? Is this the right fix, or should I be looking for new drivers or some other type of update?

Thanks!

Some cards do not support the float32 option in DirectX you should have tried this before trying another output module. But if this still doesn't work for you, drivers would be the next logical step.
