Search hijacked by Claro search

Postby Wyrelander » 20 Nov 2012 13:45

Hi I've used VLC for years and think its awesome, so thanks to all contributing to its continued success. However, in downloading an update recently I got caught by the download site including a 'Browser Manager' add-on which continually loaded 'Claro search' across all users of my Pc. (My partner uses my pc with her own logon when visiting). I can clear it out using the 'searchreset' add-on but I have to do this for each user and uninstall the Browser Manger application from the Windows Control Panel, as it doesn't seem to clear the whole Pc? Is there a easier way of cleaning out my Pc.
