line thru movie

lines thru movie.blue or green.shows on my vlc but not on others.vertical line flickering.why is this so and can anyone help???????

i have the Exact Same Problem!!!
Excuse my newbieishnees, but the Question really need your guys help is -- Why?
And what do i do about it?
there are like a tighlty packed bunch of green/blue lines that occupy on corner of the screen and distort the clip later on...

Tried to take a screenie, but theres nothing on it there.
Any pushing in a vague direction is welcome!

Disable Overlay video output or change video output module (for example direct3d or Opengl).

Try updating your graphics drivers.

Also you could try e.g. switching to a different output module such as Windows GDI or OpenGL (although DirectX - the default - is the recommended one).

Go to:
Settings >> Preferences... >> Video >> Output modules

And tick the "Advanced option" tickbox. Select from the drop down box e.g. "Windows GDI video output" or "OpenGL video output" (do Windows GDI first). Press "Save", restart VLC, then try a video.
