M2TS and DTS Audio

Postby ccantrell » 03 Jan 2009 21:07

Hi,

I am running into a problem with DTS audio running 0.9.8 - Intel build. M2TS or TS File - Information shows the video codec as mpgv (plays fine) but no audio ... audio track is detected as spu.???

If I run the latest nightly build, the audio shows DTS but playback stops entirely ... but I do get sound when it does play.

Since the nightly build seems to at least work partly, am I correct in that this (TS/M2TS with DTS audio) is not fully supported yet?

Thanks,
-chris

With latest nightly builds, you mean 1.0 ?

Well, M2TS with DTS should only be supported in 1.0 and not before.

Yes, vlc-git-intel-20090103-0027

Is that a combination that will eventually be supported?
Thanks,

Thanks. It should be fixed in tomorrow's build.
