I have the same with m3u playlists from my Enigma SAT receiver and well... instead of using VLC I made my own App (tvOS) for gathering info and then passing the stream urls to VLCKit for playback.

Ok , i want to stream with vlc, when i play stream on vlc i have 4 options for subtitles. Is it possible to embed just one subtitle on stream ? no option to choose ,subtitle auto plays with stream , embed in stream. It is not movie its a satelite channel from enigma 2

Well, look at my app in the AppStore "vuplusTV" (it's free, so it is no spam) - well makes no sense, when you do not have a Enigma 2 DVB receiver. Anyway, the App streams Live-TV and recordings (MPEG TS streams up to 1080i) via the OpenWebIF, so via http protocol. What I just saw, ...

When streaming I have to enter user and password for every single channel repeatedly.

I tested the attached project...and doesn't work out of the box (at least on my dreambox).

First, there's a typo in the URL... then It does not zap to channel before playing...maybe it's only a dreambox issue...but Enigma should be the same on all boxes
